Grape Stomping Fun Lunch
Angas Plains Wines
Time: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Give your tootsies a thorough scrub before making haste to Angas Plains Wines to get up to your ankles in grape juice. With the focus kept firmly on having the best kind of messy fun, the Angas Plains Wines annual grape stomping event kicks off 12 noon 11th March 2012, live music with Linda McCarthy and a scrumptious tapas lunch.
Grape stomping, probably the only part of winemaking that is as enjoyable as quaffing the end result. Toss all shoes aside and climb up the ladder and grape stomp. Kids will have a blast too, so bring the whole family along for a hilarious day out.
The French might refer to this particular aspect of the winemaking process as pigeage but at Angas Plains Wines they’d much prefer if you just jumped in feet first and gave the grapes a good old gleeful stomping, as the juice does not go into a wine it goes on the garden.
Angas Plains Wines are on tasting, purchase your choice to enjoy with lunch. Beer, soft drinks and coffee also available.
Tickets for adults cost $60, which is inclusive of lunch, grapes and a whole lot of fun.
Bookings are essential PH 08 8537 3159
