The Langhorne Creek Wine Industry Council was formed in July 2000 and is a partnership of the local wine industry, to act as a leadership / advocacy group.

The Langhorne Creek Wine Industry Council represents the grapegrowers and winemakers of the Langhorne Creek wine region and is the peak body for the various local industry committees and associations. The representative bodies are indicated in the structural plan below. An annually elected Executive Committee, consisting of 6 grapegrower and 4 winemaker representatives, manages the affairs of the Langhorne Creek Wine Industry Council. An Executive Officer is employed by the Langhorne Creek Wine Industry Council to assist with the requirements of the day to day running of the body.
